These Terms are the agreement between you and Arthadok Private Limited ("Arthadok", "we", "us") when you use the Arthadok web app and related services (the "Service"). They are written in plain English so they are easy to follow — please read them.
By creating an Arthadok account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & account
- You must be 13 or older to use Arthadok.
- Your account is personal and non-transferable. One account per person.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.
- We may require additional verification at any time and may suspend access if we suspect a breach of these Terms.
2. Subscriptions, trial & pricing
- New users receive a free trial. The duration, content, and availability of the trial are at our discretion and may change at any time. Only one trial per person/household.
- After the trial, continued use requires an active paid plan (Standard or Premium).
- All prices are shown on the Service and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time on prospective notice; your current subscription is honoured at the price you paid until it expires.
- Subscriptions are one-time and do not auto-renew; you may purchase the next term manually.
3. Refunds
Because Arthadok is a digital service that is delivered immediately upon purchase and is consumable from the moment you log in, payments are final and non-refundable, including (but not limited to) situations where you change your mind, do not use the Service, are unable to use it because of issues outside our reasonable control, or your account is suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms.
We may, entirely at our discretion and as a goodwill gesture, issue a refund or credit in cases such as duplicate charges or obvious billing errors. Where applicable law requires a refund, we will process it to the original payment method.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, redistribute, or publicly display Arthadok content.
- Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan caps, paywalls, or OTPs.
- Use Arthadok to build or train competing products or datasets.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, infringing, harmful, or designed to harass others.
- Probe, attack, or test the security of the Service without our prior written consent.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
We may, in our sole discretion, remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice.
5. Your content — and the licence you give us
Arthadok lets you submit content (for example: doubts, journal entries, community posts, applications to the Arthadok Commitment program, and feedback). You keep ownership of what you submit. However, to operate and improve the Service for everyone, you grant Arthadok a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, create derivative works of, translate, publish, publicly display, distribute, and use your submissions for any purpose related to operating, improving, marketing, and developing Arthadok products and services, including training and evaluating AI models.
You confirm that you have all the rights necessary to grant this licence and that your submissions do not infringe anyone else's rights or violate any law.
6. Our content
All study material, question banks, model answers, AI explanations, dashboards, code, design, and trademarks on Arthadok are owned by Arthadok Private Limited or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them for your own study only. Any other use requires our prior written permission.
7. AI-generated content
Arthadok uses third-party AI models. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be treated as professional advice. Always verify important answers with official sources and qualified instructors. We are not responsible for your reliance on AI-generated content.
8. The Arthadok Commitment program
Arthadok runs an ongoing programme — the Arthadok Commitment (see /commitment) — with two tracks open to registered members: a Founder Track (equity-backed funding) and a Leader Track (fellowship). The programme is entirely discretionary:
- Nothing on the Commitment page, in our communications, or in these Terms creates an obligation on us to consider, accept, fund or continue funding any applicant.
- We may change, pause, or end the programme at any time without notice and without liability.
- Selection criteria and the evaluation process are confidential.
- If you are selected, funding is conditional on signing a separate written agreement (equity term sheet for the Founder Track, fellowship undertaking for the Leader Track). That separate agreement controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
- You are responsible for any taxes (including TDS, where applicable) on any funds you receive.
- Funds must be used solely for the purpose stated in your application. Misuse may result in clawback and disqualification from future cycles.
9. Changes to the Service
We are constantly improving Arthadok. We may add, change, remove or retire features, plans, content, integrations, or limits at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any such change.
10. Termination
You may stop using Arthadok at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion — for example, if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, charge back legitimate payments, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, fees already paid are non-refundable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including our content, your licence to us, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any particular result (including passing your exam) will be achieved.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Arthadok, its directors, employees and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, however caused.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms is limited to the lesser of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹1,000.
- We are not liable for any acts or omissions of third-party processors (including Razorpay, Telegram, Resend, AI providers, or cloud infrastructure) or for events outside our reasonable control.
13. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Arthadok and our directors, employees, licensors and service providers from any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) your submissions or your violation of any third-party right, or (d) any unauthorised use of your account.
14. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party provider failures, regulatory action, strikes, natural disasters, or epidemics.
15. Dispute resolution & arbitration
If you have a concern, please contact us first at admin@arthadok.com so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by us. The seat and venue of arbitration will be Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The language will be English. The arbitration and its outcome will be confidential. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters not subject to arbitration.
You and Arthadok agree that any claims must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
17. Miscellaneous
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to any affiliate or successor.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Entire agreement. These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific or programme-specific agreement) are the entire agreement between you and us.
- Notices. We may notify you by email, in-app message, or by posting on this page. You may notify us at admin@arthadok.com.
